The story of a photographer
Collin M Thabang was born in the village settlement in Petersburg, Mpumalanga, in the summer of 1994, and transferred to Mpumalanga Verena in KwaNdebele during the winter of 1996. The situation compelled my mother to leave the Author with his grandma and go to work in order for them to survive. When life hands you a lemon, turn it into lemonade, like the author's mother did when she was given a film camera, which led to the author being the photographer he is today.
From the age of 12 years, the author practiced photography using the film camera that was gifted to His mother, making money in order to be able to have lunch money at school and the business grow from there, for the author was able to buy essential needs such as electricity and maize meal from the profit made by the camera at an age of 14 years.
